Phew! What a day!

I took my directions from the Creativity Book to heart today.

This week's assignment was to clean out and create a space for your creativity, by the way.

Well, today I must've gotten a burr under my saddle or something because I've been tearing this place apart. Yes, there's still things that need to be done, but I hauled out three garbage bags full of stuff that needed to be gotten rid of. I also cleaned out an area in front of the western windows and put a chair there, so I can write or read while watching the sun set over the water. That used to get my creative spirit going--I can't believe I left it crowded over for so long.

If that weren't enough, I broke down and ordered something I've been wanting for a couple of years now--a laptop reading cart. I fell in love with the one a buddy had a couple of years ago--her's was an older wrought iron and oak model. The one I ordered isn't nearly as fancy, but I still like it! And it'll give me more options of where I can work.

I still haven't put the ceremony I created to work. Love the idea of the ceremony, but I simply am NOT a morning person! When my mind doesn't want to go to sleep until five a.m. or later, it's awfully hard to be back up before 6. Bottom line, I haven't tried it out yet.

That's about all I can think of to report this week--project's started off to a slow start, but I have faith.
